Stieff Pewter Candle Holders
Free Shipping
A distinguished pair of American pewter candle holders from The Stieff Company of Baltimore, Maryland, one of the most respected names in American silver and pewter craftsmanship (later known as Kirk Stieff). Cast in the classic Colonial Williamsburg style, these taper holders carry the quiet elegance of early American design: clean lines, a weighted base, and that warm, soft glow that only genuine pewter achieves.
Dating to the late 20th Century and marked DuPont, indicating these were commissioned pieces, a detail that adds both provenance and collectability. In excellent condition, they have the lovely, mellow patina of well-kept pewter that has been appreciated over decades.
At approximately 7.75" high, they are a graceful height for a mantle, dining table, or sideboard. Sold as a pair.
