It’s elegant without being fussy. It’s beautiful and livable. Sometimes it’s sweet. Sometimes it’s chic. It’s always charming and full of character. But most of all it’s you.
Tides Vintage curates collections of vintage (and some antique*) items across a range of coastal styles. Every item was carefully selected for its authenticity, presence and design, whether it is to be primarily ornamental or functional. Many Tides Vintage finds are both.
Some pieces could not be described as anything other than coastal or ocean. Hello seashells? Many of our vintage finds, though, are selected because they bring an essence, an energy, and a sense of coastal living. The colors of tropical waters, warm sands, and sunsets, timeworn textures rendered in wood and metal, the easy interplay of the refined with the rustic. In combination or standing as a single signature piece, our thoughtfully selected offerings give you options to discover your own coastal vibe and bring it home.

About the Shopkeeper
Most of the decades of my life have been spent studying and building a career related to the ocean. It is in my heart. I have only briefly lived on the coast, though. This must be the reason I surround myself with pieces that remind me of the sea. This throughline of my life continues today as I find myself living in the middle of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. This is beautiful and peaceful country full of history. Some of that history has found its way to the vintage markets dotting the Valley’s 140 miles. I search for coastal vibes nestled between the mountains to create the Tides Vintage inventory. I only curate items I would proudly display in my own home.
Tides Vintage exists to help make these special pieces more accessible. My goal is to connect you with a treasure that will bring you a smile.
