Equal parts history and curiosity, this antique ironstone chamber pot is in the California design by Mellor, Taylor & Co., an English pottery that operated in Burslem, Staffordshire. Genuinely beautiful, this one is a true antique manufactured between 1880 and 1900. The clean white glaze is smooth and shiny, with no chips or cracks.

At 5.5" high and 9" in diameter at its widest, it is a substantial vessel with wonderful presence. Plant a trailing succulent or a lush fern and let it become the most charming planter in the room.
