Mid-century Cobalt Blue Glass Serving Bowl
Free Shipping
A sleek mid-century cobalt blue glass bowl wide at the rim and narrowing to a petite base. The resulting conical form is true to the late 1960s early 1970s production era. The deep, saturated blue catches light beautifully, making it as much a sculptural object as a functional piece. Horizontal ridges along either side of the bowl were a purposeful design to provide better grip for a bowl this size. The indentations along the rim are a place to rest serving utensils.
Its generous 12" diameter at the rim makes it ideal for a coastal tablescape. Use it to serve a favorite side dish or snack. Fill it with collected shells, sea glass, or driftwood for an effortless display, Deploy it as a centerpiece for fruit or gathered botanicals. The rich hue echoes the depth of ocean water, complementing natural linen, wood tones, and sandy neutrals that define a coastal interior.
