Emerald Green Handblown Art Glass Jug/Vase

This 12-inch emerald green art glass jug/vase is a striking example of mid-century handcraft, likely from the 1950s–1960s. The continuous spiral swirl pattern catches light beautifully, shifting from deep forest to bright jade depending on the angle.
A prominent open pontil scar on the base is the authentic mark left when the glassblower snapped the glassmaking rod from the finished piece. An organically folded handle was applied freehand from a second gather of molten glass while the vessel body was still hot.
Use this piece as a statement vase, a home bar accent, or a sun-catching centerpiece on a windowsill. Its scale and color make it equally at home in a coastal living room, a warm Mediterranean-inspired kitchen, a curated vintage shelf, or anywhere you want a single piece to do all the talking.
