A handsome vintage amber glass apothecary jar in the classic Dakota Square form. Originally engineered for commercial display, the warm amber glass was no accident; it was chosen specifically to protect light-sensitive contents like chemicals, herbs, and medicinal compounds. The ground-glass lid helps create a protective seal. This little jar features an authentic 'orange peel' texture on the base, a classic manufacturing trait left by the hot glass contacting the vintage cast-iron mold during production.
